Your Privacy.
Bang Saray Local ...
Your privacy is important to us. This app is designed to provide useful local information about Bang Saray without tracking your personal activity or collecting unnecessary data.
What We Collect
• We do not collect your name, contact details, or precise location.
• We may collect basic usage statistics to improve the app and content.
Location Access
• Location access is optional and only used to show your position on the interactive map (coming soon).
• You can deny location permission without losing access to the rest of the app.
Data Sharing
• We do not share your data with third parties.
• Any analytics are anonymous and used only for internal improvement.
Community Voting
• Voting is anonymous. There's no account, name, email or phone number.
• The app creates a random anonymous ID so we can allow one vote per person per month.
• To stop vote-stuffing we briefly keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your network address. It can't be turned back into your address.
• Individual votes and these records are deleted at the end of each month. Only the monthly winners and anonymous totals are kept.
• Vote counts aren't shown publicly.
Embedded Content
• Some pages link to external sites (e.g. Google Maps, Booking.com).
• We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external platforms.
Weather and Daylight
• Weather, sunrise and sunset information is provided by Open-Meteo.com.
• The app asks for the forecast for Bang Saray's fixed coordinates, not for your location, so your position is never sent.
• As with any internet request, Open-Meteo receives your network address when the forecast is fetched. See open-meteo.com for their privacy information.
